Age of driver: Minimum age limit of 23 years.

Driver's license: Greek or International issued at least one year ago.

Method of payment: Cash or credit card.

Gasoline: Paid by the customer

Transfer by boat: Allowed, after consultation with the office.

Check Rental Cars, relying all these years on the relationship of trust with its customers, does not ask you to give any advance payment or your credit card details to make your reservation. All it wants is in case you want to cancel your reservation for your own reasons, please do so at least 48 hours before the rental.

Personal Data

A necessary condition for the initiation of mediation between us is your disclosure of some of your personal information. During an order, you will be asked for your personal information, and your email address. The company faithfully obeying the principles of personal data protection provided by the relevant laws and international conventions will not proceed with any unfair use and without your prior approval. Check Rental Cars in no way discloses, publicizes, sells, exchanges the personal details and information you entrust to us. Exceptionally, your personal information may be made public by the company, always following the procedure prescribed by law when this is imposed by a Public Authority, a court, etc. CheckRental Cars reserves the right to inform its suppliers with statistical sales reports, which however in under no circumstances will they contain personal information that may lead to the identification of individuals.

By credit card upon receipt of the vehicle
Cash upon receipt of the vehicle

Prices

VAT is included in the prices listed in the relevant catalogs next to each vehicle.

Governing Law

All transactions carried out through rentacar-thessaloniki.com are governed by International and European law that regulates issues related to electronic commerce as well as by the Consumer Protection Law (L. 2251/1994) that regulates issues regarding distance selling.

Our store and website is committed to respecting and protecting your right to privacy of your connection. Our store does not sell, rent, or in any other way provide personal information submitted by visitors to our site to any third party. By such data we mean your name, address, telephone number, as well as your electronic address (e-mail). Our store requests the completion of the above information for the following reasons:

Name: Your name is required to make the reservation. Short-term rental contracts are nominal
Telephone Number: Your telephone number is necessary for us to communicate with you in order to better serve you regarding the reservation.
Email address: It is necessary to confirm the reservation if required
Address - Country: It is necessary because in case of violation of the law the company is obliged to send you the original document of violation. The above information will be kept in the company's records for a period of five (5) years.

This information will not be used for unsolicited communication. With your permission, our store may use this information to:

To inform you about offers
To send you forms or other correspondence
Send you press releases or other communications electronically
Deliver products or prizes to you

Our store may use non-personal statistical data (browser type, geographic location) in order to optimize the site, as part of the continuous internal review process and, in general, to get to know the consumers of our products better. We recommend that children and young people under the age of 18 obtain their parents' permission before submitting personal information to the website. In any case, the company reserves the right to send a repeat offer within fifteen (15) days from the date of the initial offer.

Exceptions for CDW and FDW WUG : No insurance covers the following cases. Charges for any of the damages listed below will be charged directly to the customer regardless of whether they have accepted CDW and FDW, WUG, with the most important being:

Damage and/or loss to the interior/exterior of the vehicle if there is no accident (in case of a reported accident, everything is covered).
Damage to the underside of the vehicle caused by off-road driving.
Burnt clutch due to misuse.
Burnt engine by negligence or broken Crankcase off paved road.
Detachment of the vehicle (beach, mountains, etc.)
Accident or damage caused under the influence of alcohol / drugs, willful damage, off-road driving.

The customer assumes full responsibility in case of such claims.

Any unreported damage or accident to the vehicle may be taken as negligence. The customer must inform the company immediately otherwise no insurance covers him.

Loss or removal of Signs. In case of loss or removal of signs during the rental, the renter will be charged for the rental until the signs are received by the competent agency as well as any costs incurred for their replacement.

Lost or damaged key. If a key is lost or damaged during the rental, then the renter will have to pay 150 to 500 euros depending on the type of vehicle. Also, any other issue that arises (key programming, vehicle transfer, etc.)
